Palestinians in Gaza Die of Starvation, Dehydration, Lack of Health Care, 11,500 Killed, 30,000 Injured, in 41 days of the Israeli Genocidal War November 14, 2023 *** 1,200 massacres, death of 4,710 children, 3,145 women, and 685 elderly. 3,640, still under the rubble, including 1,770 children. 25 hospitals and 52 health centers have been forced to close. 198 Palestinians were killed, and 2,702 injured by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank. Note: The above statistics are initial, not complete or final for Day 41 of the war.

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. More detailed news stories can be found at the following sources:http://english.wafa.ps/, https://english.palinfo.com/, https://imemc.org/, https://paltoday.ps/ar/ *** Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places: 1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules. 2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet. 3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic nams as Jameel and Jibreel. 4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed. 5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists. The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies. In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain. 6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people. *** *** An environmental catastrophe threatens livelihoods in Gaza Strip, says the statistics department RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 16, 2023 (WAFA) – The Gaza Strip is suffering from a severe crisis and needs to obtain water, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) in a report on the environmental catastrophe that threatens livelihoods in Gaza Strip in light of the 41-day long Israeli aggression. Prior to October 7, when the aggression started, the average per capita water consumption was approximately 82.7 liters per person per day, it said. However, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s aggression, this figure has dropped to only 1 to 3 liters per person per day, which means this Israeli aggression has led to a decrease of 90% in the availability of water sources, resulting in a drop of 92% in water consumption compared to pre-aggression levels. This dire situation underscores the devastating impact of the aggression on the water infrastructure, with around 55% of the water supply systems in urgent need of repair or rehabilitation in the Gaza Strip, said the PCBS. The population in the Gaza Strip has been suffering from a severe crisis regarding access to safe water for many years due to the Israeli siege on Gaza, whereas, before the Israeli aggression, only 4% of the Gaza population had access to safe and clean water. Currently, with the continuous aggression on Gaza and the lack of fuel needed to operate water desalination plants and water well pumps, people are suffering to get water, any water at all, and not only safe water. Only one water desalination plant located in the south of Gaza is working with an operating capability reached 5%, while the other two plants are not working due to power outages and lack of fuel. Due to the complete destruction of infrastructure by the Israeli aggression, about 65 sewage pumps have stopped working, and all six wastewater treatment plants have been completely shut down due to power outages and fuel shortages, thus the influx of about 130,000 cubic meters per day of untreated wastewater into the Mediterranean Sea in Gaza Strip. The ongoing Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip and the lack of fuel forced the solid waste collection vehicles to be out of service, and so did the sanitary landfills. The service of waste collection rate before the war was estimated to be 98%, collected in sanitary landfills. But, during the war, solid waste collection service has decreased to less than 20%, and so a large quantity of waste has piled in the streets and around shelter centers, schools, and in some temporary landfills. It is worth mentioning that the medical wastes have been mixed with other wastes, which will cause a health and environmental disaster. M.K. UN Security Council calls for urgent, extended humanitarian pauses in Gaza NEW YORK, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 (WAFA) – The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) called tonight for urgent and extended humanitarian pauses in Gaza. The Security Council has passed a resolution calling for urgent and extended humanitarian corridors throughout the Gaza Strip to save and protect civilian lives. The affirmative vote came following four unsuccessful efforts to take action last month. This came during the first UN Security Council meeting on the multi-faceted crisis and conflict centered on the Gaza Strip to take action. The UN Security Council succeeded in finding unity, adopting a resolution on the Israel-Palestine crisis that began on 7 October, with 12 voting in favor, none against, and three abstentions (Russia, United Kingdom, United States), calling for “urgent and extended humanitarian pauses and corridors” in Gaza for “a sufficient number of days” to allow full, rapid, safe and unhindered access for UN agencies and partners. The resolution called for ensuring the entry of fuel as well. among the items that must be allowed to be delivered “unhindered” into the Strip. The Council called for ensuring immediate humanitarian access to the Strip by the terms of the resolution, which was drafted by Malta. The Council called on all parties to refrain from depriving the civilian population in Gaza of basic services and aid indispensable to their survival, consistent with international humanitarian law. It also called for the evacuation of the sick and injured in Gaza, particularly children, and to refrain from depriving the people in Gaza of basic services, which have been heavily restricted by Israel during the conflict. T.R. Palestine’s UN Permanent Observer: Security Council should have called for a ceasefire NEW YORK, Thursday, November 16, 2023 (WAFA) - Riyadh Mansour, Permanent Observer of the observer State of Palestine to the United Nations, said the Security Council should have called a ceasefire by now. The UN Security Council voted last night in favor of a draft resolution presented by the Malta UN mission calling for humanitarian pauses and safe corridors in the Gaza Strip, with 12 voting in favor and three abstaining. “We want to save lives,” Mansour told the UNSC after the vote. “This resolution is a small step in the right direction, a small step towards a ceasefire, we want a ceasefire. We will not relent, we will not stop until we see the accomplishment of the resolutions and an end to Israeli barbaric attacks.” The Council "should have heeded the call by the UN and every humanitarian organization on Earth calling for a humanitarian ceasefire,” said Mansour. “It should have at least echoed the call of the General Assembly for an immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce leading to a cessation of hostilities.” What is happening will have long-term effects that no one should underestimate, he said. “It is a failure of humanity of terrifying magnitude,” he said. “But for now, the urgency is to save lives. Stop the killing, stop the forced displacement, allow humanitarian aid in and ensure humanitarian access, protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.” He said Israel’s plan has been revealed in statements, leaked memos, and op-eds. “Let us stop pretending we don’t hear what this government is saying,” he said. “Its plan is the continued dispossession, displacement and denial of rights of the Palestinian people. To complete the Nakba. This madness must be brought to an end,” he said. “The Council is finally acting today on a humanitarian resolution focused on children. If we are going to talk about the condemnations missing from the resolution, let me remind you of the following: The resolution did not condemn the racist and disgusting Israeli propaganda methods mocked around the world and which constitute an insult to our intelligence. It did not condemn the arbitrary imprisonment of thousands of Palestinians, men, women and children, nor called for their immediate and unconditional release. It did not condemn the assault on hospitals and schools. It did not condemn the killing by Israel of UN staff, journalists, humanitarian personnel, doctors, rescue teams. The resolution did not condemn the killing by Israel of 11,000 Palestinians, overwhelmingly civilians, including 5000 Palestinian children. It did not condemn the indiscriminate attacks by Israel,” said Mansour in reaction to the head of the US mission who criticized the resolution for not condemning the October 7 attack on Israel. M.K. PCBS: More than 800,000 Palestinians still reside in northern Gaza Strip despite Israeli displacement tactics RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 16, 2023 (WAFA) – According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), 807,000 Palestinians out of an original 1.2 million are still residing in Gaza and North Gaza governorates despite the barbaric brutality of the Israeli occupation bombardment that started on October 7 which led to mass murdering of civilians in their own homes and tremendous destruction of residential buildings, and of all civil facilities, including hospitals, schools, places of worship, bakeries, and facilities. Population residing in Gaza and North Gaza governorates as of the evening of November 11 was estimated at 807,000, representing approximately 152,000 households, out of 1.2 million Palestinians who resided in those governorates (448,000 were in the North Gaza governorate, and 754,000 in Gaza Governorate) before the beginning of the Israeli occupation aggression against Gaza Strip, meaning that about two-thirds of the population of the northern governorates still reside in the northern areas of Gaza Strip, while about a third of the population of the northern governorates comprising approximately 400,000 individuals were displaced to the central and southern governorates of Gaza Strip (Dair El-Bala'h, Khan Younus, Rafa'h). The population currently residing in the central and southern governorates of the Gaza Strip is 1.43 million people. The data collected by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics were based on the estimates of the number of people residing in Gaza and North Gaza governorates based on actual data sets that monitored the reality in Gaza Strip before and during the aggression on Gaza Strip, using data from the Palestinian telecommunications companies and the Ministry of Telecom and Information Technology, the Palestinian Household Expenditure and Consumption Survey (first three quarters, 2023) and the Household Survey on Information and Communications Technology (third quarter, 2023) in addition to demographic projections.
